What's Up with Us

Usually the blog is mostly pictures, so wanted to give our readers an update on what's going on with the kids.  Kendall is 13 months now, pushing around everything as a walker, and cruising all over the place.  She has her funny quirky personality that keeps us laughing.  She loves music, loves to dance, loves to eat and drink milk.  She is really a wonderful loving little girl.  Her favorite things are to follow Jordan around and see what he's up to, which has started some of our first sibling squabbles.  She is very curious and inquisitive, just loves people and discovering new things.  She's always smiling and laughing and chasing Mommy around the house to see if there is something to eat or new to do.

Jordan is such a big boy now!  He started at his new preschool and loves it.  He is quick to make friends and loves to hang out with all of them.  We call him Mr. Popular because there is never a shortage of playdates or birthday parties, he keeps our family busy!   He is still a very sensitive and caring little person who loves to help around the house and explore.  He amazes us with his observations and questions about everything!   He loves to read books, ride his tricycle, play funny make believe games and go to the park.  He is our little big man with complex thoughts and rationale that challenge us daily.

Bauer is back!!  He came back to live with us and it was like he never left.  We try to do as much with him as possible, he still loves his car rides and treats.  He is such a good sweet fur brother with so much patience.  The kids love to feed him, play with his ears, and take him on walks.

Great Park Event

Trekked out to the Great Park to check out an airshow and some other cool activites.  We literally had to walk two miles to get in after waiting an hour to park, but the kids had fun so it was worth it.

We had a recent heat wave in the OC, so Mommy had to get out the water toys.  We would go to the pool, but Kendall thinks she can swim and won't stay in a floatie, and keeps trying to dive into the water.  We love our water toys!!

Music Class and Dinner

Been enjoying a music class and dinner date with Brady and Liv.  Attie and family joined us on our most recent outing.

4th of July

Had a funfilled and busy Fourth of July.  It started with Mommy's 10K race in Woodbridge and ended with fireworks.  There was playing outside, getting dressed up in red, white & blue, dinner and crafts in the middle.  We were all exhausted but had a great day.

Kendall at Gymboree

I had so much fun at Gymboree!  Loved all the cool things to see and do, and even Gymbo.  Mommy feels eternally guilty that I have not had the same learning experiences that my big brother had, so she is trying to find some fun things to enjoy while he is in preschool.

Had a great time at Huntington Beach with some of Mommy's old UCLA pals.  They know how to throw a party!
