Being Green and Building a Birdhouse

We read a cool book called Riki's Birdhouse and decided to try making our own, thought we'd be green and use materials we had at home.

Ta Da!  Finished product!  

Sadly no birds have visited our house yet, not sure if they don't like the brand of bird feed or what, any tips appreciated.

Surf City Marathon 2012

Mommy has been training to run this marathon for over 3 months.  After all those cold morning runs and Daddy having to keep us entertained while Mommy did all that running, race day arrived on Superbowl Sunday.  It was a great race!  Mommy reached her lifelong goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:36:15. With over 22,000 runners we weren't able to find parking to meet her at the finish but we were there to pick her up and celebrate on the ride home!

Pacific Symphony's - Symphony in Space

Daddy took us to our first Symphony Concert sans Mommy. We all enjoyed it, especially the free glasses and the Star Wars excerpts.
