Baby Io's Shower

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, the parental units have been slacking on the blog.  Here are some pictures from Baby Io's shower.  We drove all the way up to Mulholland Estates for the big day.

Haircut

At long last, after much discussion, debate, cajoling, and finally bribing Jordan got a much needed haircut.  Yes he kept his fingers in his ears the entire time.

After, much better!  And his new Woody doll to join his bed menagerie.

Surf City Half Marathon

Started Superbowl Sunday with Mommy's race.  

 Us relaxing at the Expo.

 Best part of this race was running and playing along the beach.

 

It happened to also be Auntie Judy's birthday, what a way to celebrate!

Post race 13.1 miles later and all smiles.   Mommy wasn't sure she could run it, because of a foot injury but she ran her best time ever. 1:36:06, which met her goal of qualifying for next year's NY Marathon!  We'll see if she is ready to run it.  No pictures of the kids at the race because Daddy wasn't able to battle the 20,000 people there for parking.  We were there in spirit!!
